Preamble
Welcome to my Digital Garden! I don't have much to show right now but hopefully I will be filling it with a crop of thoughts.
If you are new to the concept, a Digital Garden is a space for the Gardener (the person making the posts) to build upon thoughts and retun to edit and tend to them.
A Digital Garden is not like a blog, which is usually one and done, but instead more like a collection of personal wikipedia pages.
It is customary for new visitors to understand that all gardens are a work in progress, and give them a space to be a process.
It is also important that the gardener be willing to take in new information (so long as it is imparted politely).
There is a more thorough explanation of digital gardenshere on Maggie Appleton's site.
The Garden Plots
Legend
Spore - A thought that has just been planted. It is very rough and has a long way to grow.
Button - A thought that is more fully formed but is still lacking some finer details.
Cap - A thought that is fully mature. There may be some small gaps to fill but it should be able to stand on its own fairly well. Could even spread new spores.
